Public beaches in Ein Bokek,  Dead Sea

Outdoor activity and leisure design
 

In connection to the currently developed landscape tourism masterplan that includes a promenade along the southern Dead Sea shore all the way from the northern entrance of Ein Bokek to Neve Zohar in the South, the public beaches in Ein Bokek are being remodelled and their facilities are being entirely renovated and extended.

 

The project is estimated to be completed by the end of 2015.

 

Employer: Braudo - Maoz Landscape Architecture Ltd., Tel Aviv

 

Client: Dead Sea Preservation Government Company Ltd. in cooperation with the hotels

Responsibilities: Landscape design plan incl. new grading, a pedestrian promenade, public beach facilities, lifeguard stations, shading structures and walking paths into the water with special emphasis on accessibility and the harsh climate conditions in the Dead Sea area
